Welcome to the Needham Middle PTC

The Needham Middle Parent Teacher Council (PTC) represents and supports both the High Rock School and the Pollard Middle School. Our mission is to contribute to the enrichment of the education and extracurricular programs for all the children in grades 6, 7, and 8, and to foster a sense of community between students, parents, teachers and administrators.

The PTC is looking forward to this upcoming school year.  Hopefully this year will be a return to a "normal" school year.  The largest fraction of the PTC budget goes towards enrichment in our schools/classrooms - bringing in speakers and programs that enhance the curriculum in the classroom, grants to fund various things that improve our schools and funds to bring new things to the media center and library of the two schools.  With the pandemic, outside speakers were limited or over zoom, but last year we were able to bring back some programming.  We hope to fund more programs this year.  

The PTC remains committed to supporting the teachers and staff and High Rock and Pollard.  In addition to the programs that enhance the classroom experience, we also look forward to teacher appreciation events to show them the well-deserved recognition.  

There are two ways you can help:  

1) Financial Assistance so that our organization can provide speakers and materials to enrich the classroom experience for the students and teachers.  Also, so that we can show our appreciation to our schools' teachers and staff.  

2) Volunteer!  We have a number of positions to fill so that we can achieve our mission this year.
